For sale from our Sydney Showroom a 1991 Holden VP SS Commodore in Anthracite Grey and running the matching numbers 5 Litre V8 and 4 speed Automatic gearbox. With log books and only 138,040 Klms on the clock, this is a rare to find early SS Commodore in totally unmodified condition.
Introduced with the VH Commodore, the SS was a super popular model aimed at those who liked their Commodores with a sportier vibe. It also formed the base upon which HDT and then HSV built their range of improved and modified special vehicles.
Now getting thin on the ground, for sale is a superb unmodified Anthracite Grey example of the VP SS Commodore. Originally sold by John Young Holden in Penrith, NSW, this VP SS features the 165kW 5L fuel injected V8 and 4 speed MD8 automatic combo. The car features all original metallic paint as well as the original interior.
The VP SS Commodore also features a Limited Slip Differential, Driving lights, FE2 sports suspension, SS Body kit including front & rear bumper lip, side skirts, boot lip spoiler, SS decals and striping and SS interior fabrics incorporating a grey/red checker design.
Mechanically the VP SS is unmodified and has been mechanically well looked after and serviced. The gearbox and diff have been serviced and the undercarriage presents in very tidy condition. The SS also features a 90 litre fuel tank with new shocks and springs and the factory disc brakes have been restored.
Showing a genuine 138,040 klm from new with log books, owners manual and a set of keys. Originally sold by John Young Holden in Penrith, the VP has had two owners with the current owner caring for the Commodore since 2017.
The SS is riding on the VP SS alloy rims with new Kumho 205/65R15 tyres. The original boot mat, spare wheel cover, spare and tools are also in the boot.
