1995 Holden VS Calais 5 Litre V8 in factory Alaskan White with Grey leather trim and featuring factory IRS, ABS, FE2 suspension, power windows, A/C, P/S and cruise control. Located in Tamworth, NSW for your inspection.
Great entry level Aussie collector car running the matching numbers 5 Litre V8 and 4 speed T-700 gearbox.
Purchased by the current owner in 2015, the Calais was used as his daily drive until recently and has always been garaged. Paint work is the factory Alaskan White and presents well for its age with some flaking to the paint on the bumpers, but no rust or damage.
Mechanically, the Calais is in very good maintained condition with notable modifications being VT twin pot calipers and rotors on the front, Hurricane headers with hiflow cats, a 3" exhaust system and Whiteline adjustable sway bars front and rear.
The interior features the original Grey leather trim that is showing its age and is covered with aftermarket seat covers. The car is showing 286,482 Klms on the clock. The factory Air conditioning works perfectly with a new compressor recently fitted. Hoodlining is also perfect and the rest of the interior is in excellent condition. The VS is fitted with a Pioneer stereo and uses the factory speakers.
The Calais is riding on chrome alloy 18" rims with Bridgestone/Kumho 235/40R18 tyres. The original Calais alloy rims with centre caps and older tyres are included with the sale. The Calais is also supplied with the original sway bars, front brake calipers and owners manual.
