When you're on a good thing stick to it. And Holden's designers knew they had a great product in the LS1 powered SS Commodore. With small improvements over the VT and then the VX Series 1, the Series 2 fine tuned the suspension with the inclusion of an extra link arm in the Commodore's independent rear suspension. This IRS system helps improve rear end grip and also ride quality.

For sale from our Sydney Showroom is one of Holden's great Aussie muscle cars. In Sting Red with Anthracite black cloth trim, this VX Series II SS Commodore is running the matching numbers 5.7L Gen III LS1 V8 Chevy-sourced powerhouse making around 225 kW and 460 Nm and fitted with the Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission presented in stock unmodified condition. The car is showing a genuine log booked 182,122 klms from new.

The exterior paint is in very good maintained condition for the age and mileage. The interior is clean with only minor wear and all gauges work as does the factory radio and factory A/C.

 The SS is fitted with factory power steering and FE2 suspension and is riding on factory 17" alloy rims with 235/45ZR17 tyres. The car comes with a spare tyre and jack. 

Originally sold by Paul Wakeling Holden in Campbelltowm NSW and serviced by Paul Wakeling and then Dwyers City Holden in Wollongong, NSW. The VX Series II SS Commodore comes with the original log books, owners manuals and two genuine keys.
