For sale is HSV's top of the line luxury performance cruiser the HSV VS Grange. Launched in October 1996 as part of the VS Series II model range, the Grange was the high-performance, long-wheelbase luxury flagship based on the Holden Caprice. In Cherry Black, this HSV Grange is sold with log books and owners manuals from our  Sydney Showroom. 

Powered by the Aussie 5.0-litre V8 engine pushing 185kW at 4800 rpm and 400nm of torque at 3600 rpm with gears chaged via the 4-speed automatic gearbox. 

Setting the Grange apart from the Caprice, HSV fitted revised damper valving, stiffer spring rates, a larger front anti-roll bar, and electronic automatic rear ride-levelling. Reviewers noted it balanced the stately limousine ride quality with better body control than standard Holden Caprice/Statesman.

HSV also fitted the interior with lavish timber woodgrain trim, quality full leather upholstery, power-adjustable memory front seats, and a 10-speaker audio system with a 10-disc CD stacker. Buyers of new models famously received a matching numbered bottle of Penfolds Grange Hermitage wine. Sadly, not included in the sale.

Build No. 19 was originally sold via Barry Smith Holden in Sydney and is presented in Cherry Black with sumptuous Grey Howe leather trim and factory optioned with the electric sunroof. This HSV has covered a genuine 205,237 Klms from new and comes with the original log books and owners manuals. The Grange has been externally repainted.

Mechanically the Grange runs and drives.  It has been in a large private collection for the last 10 years so a mechanica  inspection is recommended.  

The Grange is supplied with the log books, owners manual and dealer folder plus one key.
