Its fair to say that Aussie motoring fans lost their nut when Holden pulled the covers off the top-secret Commodore Coupe concept back in 1998. It was a moment that led to the return of one of the most iconic names in our automotive history - The Holden Monaro.

But when Holden Special Vehicles released its high-performance variants in 2001, there wasn't a Monaro badge to be seen. Due to trademark conflicts between the two entities, the HSV two-doors were referred to as HSV Coupes, available in either GTO or GTS spec.

2006 saw the final versions of the HSV Coupe roll off the assembly line. HSV gave this legendary two-door sensation the ultimate send off. The final iteration featured the HSV-exclusive 6.0 litre LS2 V8 producing a sizzling 297kW @ 6000rpm and 530Nm @ 4400rpm and was bolstered by an array of distinctive sporting and luxury highlights. 

Called the 'Signature Coupé', this limited-edition model is one megastar whose autograph is not to be missed. Only 70 were built and they were the very last Coupés to flow down the HSV production line. As a result, the conventional HSV individual vehicle number system, which began with build number one and counts upwards, is reversed. Therefore, there was a 'countdown' with the final Coupé off the line to be badged number one.

VZ HSV GTO Signature Coupe #31 is presented with only 15,034 KILOMETRES FROM NEW! In unmarked Sting Red with Black leather trim, Build No. 031 was originally sold by Eagers Holden, Newstead, Brisbane, QLD. The Signature Coupe features the factory 6.0 litre LS2 V8 and 4 speed auto transmission and comes with full service history, plus all the original books and HSV documentation and 2 sets of keys. The Coupe also still features the original wheels and Signature badging as well as the genuine Signature floor mats. 

Mechanically the Coupe features the six litre LS2 Chev engine in totally unmodified and fully maintained condition. Build number 31 of only 70 made is supplied with the HSV numbered Certificate of authenticity, the HSV Compendiums, log books and HSV manuals, touch up paint and the dealer documentation.

In the boot is the original unused spare tyre and unused fire extinguisher. The car is riding on the original factory Yokahama Advan Sport 245/35ZR19 tyres and perfect unmarked factory alloy wheels.
