Thirty years after Ford released the legendary XC Falcon Cobra Hardtop, FPV released the limited edition BFII GT Cobra. Build No. 280 of 400 made is as brand new. A one owner car with only 23,264 km on the clock, this stunning FPV BFII Falcon GT Cobra features the factory Boss 302kw 5.4L quad cam V8, 6 speed manual transmission and R-Spec suspension. Ordered by the current owner new from Power Ford, Castlehill in November 2007, this Cobra was optioned with the $4,520 Brembo brake upgrade and tinted windows. The Brembo package includes the larger 6-piston front Brembo calipers and 4-piston rear Brembo calipers at the rear. This expensive upgrade option resulted in significant enhancements over the standard FPV brakes, offering superior stopping power, heat management, and performance for both street and track use.
The GT Cobra comes with all FPV documentation including the FPV Compendium, log books and owners manuals, FPV authenticity certificate, service history, the Cobra GT new car brochure and two sets of keys.
This GT has been in the hands of a keen Ford collector from new and still features the original tyres, unused back seat and boot. This is definitely a premium quality collector car and like it's XC Falcon Cobra cousin, has become a true GT legend.
The GT still features the original factory spare tyre and immaculate boot. The original 245x35ZR19 Dunlop SP Sports Maxx tyres are still on the Cobra and no expense has been spared lovingly maintaining this rare GT Cobra.
