Rare find BT1 6 cylinder fully rebuilt over the past 7 years.  Repainted on the exterior with original paint in the door jambs with engine bay smoothed and boot refinished in matt black. Mechanically running a Gas Racing 3 Litre 6 cylinder engine with Precision 76/75 Turbo, R35 GTR coils, twin thermo fans, stainless valves, Crow Cam, CP Pistons, Nitto rods, Nitto oil pump and large Aeroflow sump. The VL runs on E85 fuel with a Nitros setup.  Exhaust comprises of a custom manifold and then through to a 3" stainless exhaust with an AES cutoff valve. The transmission is a reverse pattern Turbo 400 from Al's Race Glides with Trans Brake, TCI convertor and one piece tail shaft.  There is also a tail shaft loop and the diff is a shortened Ford 9" diff with 35 Spline axles, Diff Technics installed Eaton Tru Trac centre with 3.5 diff ratio. 

The VL has completed a number of 9 second 1/4 mile passes at Eastern Creek Dragway.  While being super quick, the VL is easily driven on the road and does not overheat or misbehave.  

The Commodore runs a dynamatted interior with new carpet. The interior trim is in excellent condition with the two front seats retrimmed in NOS New Blue trim. Door trims, roof lining and console are all original and in very good condition. The VL runs a Haltech IQ3 digital dash with 2000 Sport Haltech ECU. Shifter is a reverse pattern B&M shifter with trans brake button and Nitros switch.  The factory A/C and P/S have been deleted. The original AM/FM stereo is still in the dash and does work. 

The VL is riding on 16" Simmons wheels with $500 each Mickey Thompson 255/55R16s on the rear and Michelin 195/65R16 tyres on the front. The car also comes with a set of ex chaser 15" Police rims.  

The VL is supplied with thousands of dollars worth of receipts for all works from Al's Race Glides, Diff Technics and Gas Racing. 

The Commodore runs the Police spec 90 Litre long range fuel tank and the Police interior light 

This is a standard looking VL Commodore SL with the added bonus of being a genuine BT1 ex. Police Chaser. But the real surprise is under your right foot. With 710RWHp this Commodore will literally blow your socks off.  The ultimate street sleeper combo!
