The movie car chase scene through the hills of San Francisco in the iconic Highland Green 390 S-code '68 Mustang GT Fastback is considered by many to be the greatest car chase scene of all time, and along with the King Of Cool McQueen performing much of the driving himself has elevated the car to legendary cult status.

The original movie car was recently brought out of hiding and was auctioned by Mecum Auctions in Florida in Jan 2020 selling for US$3.74 million! The press surrounding this event was enormous and only adds to the iconic status of the original 'Bullitt' and these anniversary cars built to honour it.

Build number 3851 was completed in February, 2019, one of 7000 made world wide and one of only 700 brought into Australia. Presented in stunning Bright Highland Green and powered by the upgraded 345 kW Coyote 5.0 litre engine, with 6 speed manual transmission. (No automatic option in Bullitts).

The Limited Edition Bullitt differs from the normal Mustang GT with a power upgrade from 329kW to 345kW. That's around 470hp and good for 165mph back in San Francisco. The Bullitt borrows the intake manifold and cold air intake from the Shelby GT350, with a custom Bullitt ECM tune and active exhaust system which gives it an unique and unmistakable sound. They are also equipped with an unique kevlar rear spoiler, kevlar side quarter vents, Bullitt skirt emblems, Bullitt stainless steel exhaust tips, Bullitt tower to tower bracing, badges, bonnet struts and MagneRide suspension. 

This is a ONE OWNER Mustang delivered by Macarthur Ford, Campbelltown, NSW.  It is in immaculate condition and has the $3900 RECARO seat option (included in about one third of Australian delivered cars). The Bullitt was treated to ceramic paint protection at the dealership when new.  Of course all books and delivery documentation are included. The Bullitt has full service history from Macarthur Ford with the last service at 30,316 Klms in February, 2026.
