The exterior features an aggressive Saleen body package, including front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, boot-lid spoiler and side vents. Under the bonnet is the legendary Ford 4.6-litre V8, comprehensively upgraded and stroked to 5.0 litres (302ci) as part of the Saleen S302 engine upgrade package. The build was influenced by the limited-production Saleen S302 Parnelli Jones Edition, of which only 500 were produced worldwide.

The engine is fitted with a Saleen Series V supercharger and was comprehensively rebuilt at approximately 49,000 kilometres. Since the rebuild, the car has travelled only a further 10,000 kilometres, leaving the engine in exceptionally fresh condition.

Power is delivered through the factory-style Tremec six-speed manual transmission, providing the full three-pedal muscle car experience.
