This rare Port Wine XA GT was originally sold by Bartford in Foster, Victoria and then sold to the second owner in Redcliffe in Queensland in 1973 and then sold to the current owner 23 years ago. The car was stored for most of that time in the owners factory unit until 2024 when he recommissioned the car.

The car was repainted in acrylic. The glass is original including the windscreen and all chrome and stainless is still day one. The interior is original with inserts added to the original black trim. The door cards, crash pad, steering wheel and all gauges are original. The original 8 Track is now gone replaced with an 80s cassette player.

Mechanically, the factory matching numbers 351 4V Cleveland retains the original factory Motorcraft carby. The GT retains the original fan shroud, cast iron exhaust headers, horns and wiper motor. The GT is showing  30,364 miles on the clock.

The underside of the GT has been restored with reconditioned front suspension, shock absorbers, tail shaft, diff, new handbrake cable and exhaust. 

The GT is riding on the original 12 slot riveted rims with red walled 195/75R14 radial tyres. An original 12 slot spare, factory jack and bag and boot mat are in the boot. 

This special XA GT is one of only 1,868 XA GT Falcons built, one of 806 with the automatic gearbox, one of 12 with this particular paint finish, one of 3 with the same paint and trim combo and 1 of 1 with the exact build specifications. The XA GT comes with a Deluxe ACCHS verification letter and many years of happy motoring memories.
