It is indeed rare nowadays to find such a good example of the XT GT Falcon. Originally sold through Cramond Ford,  Adelaide SA, this restored XT GT was repainted in 2 pak in 2017 with the original Windsor 302 engine rebuilt to stock specifications under 3,000 miles ago. 

Well known among GT aficionados, the XT GT is one of the nicest GTs to drive and cruise. Certainly getting hard to find in this condition. The body of this GT is in perfect rust and damage free condition. The current owner, a serious collector, has owned the GT for the last 5 years and now regretfully is parting with this quality XT GT. 

Mechanically, the GT is running the all matching numbers 302 V8 Windsor with original Autolite carby, Yellow top coil, extractors and chrome sports air cleaner. The compliance plate, engine number, radiator support and shock tower numbers are clean and easily identified as day one stampings. 

The interior has been retrimmed with new black trim with original door cards, original crash pad, instruments and GT steering wheel. The GT is showing 48,358 miles and comes with a set of original Ford keys. The XT was originally South Australian registered with the number plates RCX-494. 

The car still features the original Lucas Ranger spotlights in superb condition. And the XT is riding on the original 14x6" steel wheels with excellent GT chrome hub caps. An original spare, boot mat are in the boot. 

This is a rare GT being one of only 1,163 manual XT GTs built of the total 1,480 XT GT model run. The car is now ready for the next owner to enjoy.
