For sale is a beautifully presented 1971 ZD Fairlane in Bronze Wine with all original Saddle trim. Running the matching numbers 302 V8 and Cruisomatic auto this very original Fairlane is for sale from Echuca, Victoria. 

In 1971 Ford had the Australian luxury car market sewn up with the full sized ZD Fairlane 500. Big on the outside and roomy on the inside. Powered by the trusty 302 Windsor V8 with column cruisomatic this was a big car, perfect for the big family as a cruiser in the days when a family holiday meant squeezing all the kids into the back seat, packing the huge boot with all the gear and heading to the beach, the bush or to the snow for the school holidays. No flying overseas like we seem to be doing nowadays.

FOR SALE is this a very original survivor Bronze Wine with Saddle trim 1971 ZD Fairlane. A beautifully maintained car, the Fairlane was treated to an exterior repaint 15 years ago and still presents in excellent condition to with no wear and tear showing. It looks like the rear seats have never been sat in and the door card chrome is still in excellent condition. Even the original centre caps for the window winders are still in their place.  

The numbers matching 302 V8 is still purring away under that big bonnet. The factory power steering makes driving a breeze and the under dash Monitor Mk. IV Air Conditioning is still ice cold. There is also a radio/cassette player in the dash with a CD stacker in the boot to entertain. The Fairlane is fitted with a Brently Electronic Alarm and a white metal venetian blind.

Mechanically the car runs and drives beautifully. The Fairlane runs a 2BBL Holley carby, factory exhaust manifold, dual exhaust with an later model fan shroud and air cleaner car. 

A really good rust free example of the ZD Fairlane with excellent chrome and stainless. The Fairlane boasts lots of original parts including the day one boot mat and excellent hubcaps. The ZD is riding on White Walled 195/75R14 tyres and there is an original spare in the boot.  

This is a great opportunity to get into a true standout ZD Fairlane. A rare find for the Fairlane enthusiast.
