Drop dead gorgeous 1977 Holden LX Torana A9X Tribute in factory Opaline Blue with Slate Black trim. Running a worked 5.0 Litre V8 and M21 4 speed manual gearbox. Located in our Sydney Showroom.

Factory Opaline Blue Torana built to the highest standards into a perfect replica of an A9X Torana 4 door. Being a November 1977 build makes this the perfect base for the famous Holden Torana A9X. Using many parts sourced from a wrecked A9X and assembled next to a genuine Opaline Blue A9X, has helped to make this Torana as close to A9X specifications as possible. 

A rare colour combination, no expense has been spared in this full bare metal nut & bolt rotisserie restoration.  The paint and trim are in beautiful condition with the restoration using either new, reconditioned, replated or restored parts. And in many cases, genuine original parts have been used. 

The result. An A9X Tribute that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

The mechanicals have been fully reconditioned with the period correct 308 engine rebuilt with a L34 cam, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, date coded and rebuilt 4BBL Rochester carby, M21 4 speed, L34 extractors and 2 1/2" factory exhaust. The engine bay has been detailed to look totally day one factory A9X with the single thermo fan, A9X radiator, factory stickers and paint markings. 

All the electrics have been reconditioned with a Bosch alternator, new battery and factory Holden battery leads. The front end was sourced from a genuine A9X and has been fully reconditioned with overhauled steering rack, new shocks, springs and bushes and the Salisbury 10 bolt LSD diff has had the seals, rear shocks and springs replaced. The brake calipers and steering arms are also genuine A9X items.

The Torana features wide body A9X flares, satin blackouts, replated original A9X style chrome bumpers and a standard fuel tank complete the picture. The A9X brake ducts are even there in the front spoiler. 

The interior was sourced from a genuine A9X and includes original carpet, hood lining, door trims, vinyl finishes, seat belts, dash and cluster. The gauges all work perfectly as does the factory radio. 

Open the boot and the original boot matt is in its place as is a spare wheel and factory jack and tools. The  underside of the car presents in excellent condition with gearbox and tail shaft painted in the factory colours and paint markings. 

The Tory is riding on 14" A9X style GTS rims with Nangang 215/65R14 tyres. 

They don't get better than this one. A terrific high quality restoration to a factory Opaline Blue Torana that is ready to be enjoyed by one very lucky buyer.
