Rarely available XA GT Falcon Replica Hardtop in Wild Plum with White trim running a strong 351 Cleveland, C10 auto and 9" diff. For sale from Launceston, Tasmania.
Starting life as an 1972 XA Fairmont 302 V8 Hardtop in Calypso Green, this XA Hardtop has been tastefully transformed into a spectacular looking XA GT Falcon Replica. Rarely available, the XA is painted in stand out Wild Plum 2 pack paint with full White XA GT interior. Running gear is a 351 Cleveland with Holley 650DP carby, Edelbrock Air Gap RPM manifold, nice lumpy cam, Bosch electronic ignition, Pacemaker tuned length extractors, an alloy radiator with single thermo fan through to a C10 gearbox with a 2,500 manualised stall and a 3:5 9" LSD. The XA was fully restored in 2017 and still presents in excellent condition throughout.
On the inside, the XA has been retrimmed in full GT XA trim with new hood lining, genuine GT dash, steering wheel, XB indicator stalk with horn, 140MPH speedo and 8,000 RPM tacho. All the gauges work and there is an aftermarket water temp gauge mounted under the dash. Even the clock works and the GT Replica is fitted with a Radio blanking plate and rear window venetian.
Hardtop Falcons are rare to find and this factory V8 has been tastefully and expertly converted to a highly desirable XA GT Falcon Replica in an excellent colour combo with nil rust, bog or damage. The current owner of 5 years has replaced all bushes and ball joints and is selling to downsize his car collection.
