The CL series Chrysler Charger was introduced in late October 1976 and was the last Charger model made in Australia. Only available as a Charger 770, these cars were available in a choice of 4.0L, 4.3 L or 5.2 L engines and with with either an automatic gearbox or the trusty 4-speed manual transmission. For sale is this very late build Chrysler Charger 770 (Chrysler's manufacturing production of the Charger ceased on 16 August,1978). This super original example of the CL Charger is factory optioned with the factory 5.2 litre 318 Fireball V8 and 4 speed manual D20 gearbox. Repainted approximately 12 months ago in 2 Pack in the original Stellar Blue paint with mostly original interior including the original B2 Boca Raton cloth Satin Blue seats, factory hood lining, sunvisors, dash pad, instruments and centre console.

The current owner has fitted new carpets and kick panels. The car has original floors including the boot floor area. Brakes, suspension, engine, transmission and diff are all in good working condition and have been serviced recently.

This rare Charger is well optioned with the matching numbers E44 5.2 V8 engine, D20 four speed manual transmission, A45 towing package which includes heavy duty cooling alternator and battery, G15 laminated tinted windscreen, L73 Fuel Pacer, A60 sports stripe (not fitted) and working R82 push button AM radio.

This is one of the last Chargers assembled and is a 1 of 1 build car with the color/trim/option combination. Originally sold by Collins Chrysler, South Melbourne, VIC, the Charger shows a 122,329 Klms on the clock and comes with the Valiant Infobase letter of verification.
